This year is 2009. How was the internet like 10 years ago in 1999?

After many months of saving, I finally able to own my very first Apple iPod Touch! I have always wanted one after I say my friend's. The ability to browse through your song list using the carousel view is way cool!
I have been using Microsoft Outlook since Office 2000 days to manage my emails. Prior to that I was using Outlook Express. I upgraded to Microsoft Office 2007 recently. What dismayed me is that instead of taking advantage of Internet Explorer 7, Outlook 2007 uses the very limited support for HTML and CSS that is built into Word 2007 to display HTML email messages.
As a result, all HTML emails in Outlook 2007 looks terrible:

With this release, Outlook drops from being one of the best clients for HTML email support to the level of Lotus Notes and Eudora. Why this change? I am thinking that sercurity might be an issue. Remove integration means that many insecure HTML/CSS items will not be support. However, this makes email designing a living hell.
Looks like I have to find alternative means to create nice emails. Hiaz...
Something must break everytime Microsoft releases new software version.
I was browsing YouTube when I saw this video. Longhorn is the working name for Windows Vista. Wow! If only Windows Vista has these features. Too bad many of the planned features were drop for Windows Vista. Windows Vista end up resembling MacOS and has become a joke in the Mac community.
I purchased a new notebook from the recent computer fair. It was a trade-in from my old Acer notebook. The trade-in reduces $420 from my purchase and I am able to bring home my new notebook cheaply at $980. Good deal! It comes with the latest Windows Vista pre-installed.

Upon the first look, I find it similiar to MacOSX. Upon using it, I found similiar features.
